morning fog hosts dawn
prairie grass, spirit rising
breathing in and out

There is a time
There is a time when I shall be free
When I am not judged by my race or origin
Or my religion
Or my gender or sexual orientation
Or my age
Or my ability or disability
Or my weight or height
Or my income
The time is today
When I abandon these judgments
And recognize every human being
In this intricate web of life.
Then, too, my brothers and sisters shall recognize me
And we shall be free.
